To hide print lines in Excel, follow these steps:
-
Select the worksheet where you want to hide print lines.
-
Go to the Page Layout tab on the Ribbon.
-
In the Sheet Options group, locate the Gridlines section.
-
Uncheck the View checkbox under Print.
-
The gridlines will no longer appear when printing the worksheet.
Alternative Method Using Page Setup
-
Select the worksheet.
-
Click on the File tab and choose Print.
-
Click Page Setup at the bottom of the print preview.
-
In the Sheet tab, uncheck Gridlines under the Print section.
-
Click OK to save changes.
Notes
-
This does not remove the gridlines from the worksheet view on your screen; it only hides them when printing.
-
You can hide gridlines for specific areas by selecting the range and applying a white fill from the Home > Fill Color option.
This ensures your printed worksheets look clean and professional without visible gridlines.
