Steps:

Select the column containing the names.
Example: Column A.
Go to the Data tab.
In the Data Tools group, click:
Remove Duplicates
A dialog box appears.
- If you have only names in one column → make sure only that column is checked.
- If you have headers → check My data has headers.
Click OK.
