To print a range in Excel, follow these steps:

Select the Range
Highlight the cells you want to print by clicking and dragging over them. Only this selection will appear in the printout. -
Open the Print Menu
PressCtrl + Pon Windows orCommand + Pon Mac to open the Print dialog. -
Set the Print Selection
In the Print dialog:-
Locate the Settings section.

Click the dropdown menu that defaults to Print Active Sheets.

Select Print Selection.

Adjust Page Setup
Click Page Setup to:-
Change orientation to Portrait or Landscape depending on the range width.

Set margins to Normal, Wide, or Narrow.

Fit the selection to 1 page wide by 1 page tall if necessary.

Preview the Print
Review the print preview to ensure the selected range fits and appears correctly. -
Print the Range
Click Print to print only the selected range.

On Mac, the Print Selection option appears after clicking Show Details in the Print dialog.

Large ranges may need scaling adjustments to fit the page. Use Fit Sheet on One Page or adjust the scaling percentage manually.

Named ranges can simplify printing specific areas. Select a named range from the Name Box, then choose Print Selection.
This method ensures only the specified cells appear on paper, avoiding unnecessary blank pages or extra data.
